Formed in 2015 out of the internationally active reggae group
Sebastian Sturm & Exile Airline, the band has always drawn its greatest inspiration from the music of Bob Marley.
With electrifying, authentic, and unmatched energy, Marley’s Ghost brings not only the music and legendary songs of Bob Marley to the stage, but also his message.
Frontman Sebastian Sturm embodies the “King of Reggae” with remarkable presence—his distinctive voice has often earned him the reputation of being “the German voice of Bob Marley.” The charismatic singer, of German-Indonesian heritage, is a passionate performer who captivates audiences and truly draws them in.
The band members have toured together for many years, performing across Europe and even in Jamaica, the birthplace of reggae. Along the way, they’ve built a strong reputation in the scene for their exceptional live performances, appearing at renowned festivals such as Summerjam, Reggae Sun Ska, Rototom Sunsplash, and Chiemsee Reggae Summer, among others. Whether on major festival stages or at private events like weddings and corporate parties, they stay true to their motto: “We bring Marley to your party!” – “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”
